• The client needed a report that could efficiently bring together data from multiple ATS systems to provide holistic insight into the company at the executive level.


  • Developed Mock Report Template of Required KPIs. 
  • Identified key data points needed from each ATS system for those KPIs and developed a standard data table format for blending the datasets.
  • Cleaned and conformed the different datasets to a standard terminology allowing for clear comparisons.


  • Ensured that the new report could scale to incorporate new companies and ATS systems in the future.
  • Provided company KPIs that are accurate as well as report customization through filtration of datasets.



  • The client needed to implement custom placement commission info (which was located in an ATS system) into a back-office financial report to meet financial reporting needs.


  • Identified any and all relevant placement commission info data from ATS, extracted data from said ATS and pulled it into the back-office report.
  • Commission info was modified and transformed to suit the back office structure.
  • Existing back-office visuals were adapted to utilize commission split percentages and report key metrics per employee. 
  • Worked directly with client’s old, manual financial reporting to ensure data accuracy.


  • A new financial report that broke out key metrics (bill, pay, margin) by each placement’s specific commission percentages.
  • Provided an additional debug page to highlight data entry errors pertaining to commission info that would need to be fixed in the source system.



  • The client needed a report that could reflect the current state of tickets in an issue tracking system while retaining security around certain tickets that required a higher level of access to view.


  • Wrote OData query to pull relevant tickets out of the source system.
  • Utilized BI tool to transform ticket data based on custom ticketing structure implemented by the client.
  • Created visuals breaking out tickets by type and state, and added security rules to the report that leveraged Active Directory groups to delegate access to privileged ticket information.
  • Worked with the client to set up a process for entering tickets into the system to match custom structure as well as the process for managing privileged report access.


  • Created a report containing important KPIs surrounding custom tickets implemented in the issue tracking system.
  • Provided documentation for entering new tickets in the source system as well as maintaining secure access roles in the report.



  • The client had concerns about bill and pay rate changes within back-office financial reports. 
  • Historical rates were not being tracked and were being replaced when changes were made to the back-office directly by the client. 
  • Needed to ensure both old and new bill and pay rates were being tracked.


  • Pulled historical data of all bill and pay rates from the client’s back-office.
  • Adapted the code within Power Query to reflect when new bill and pay rates were added.


  • A report showcasing when bill and pay rates changed prior to the new bill and pay rates. 
  • The date range on the reports reflected the appropriate bill and pay rate for the specific consultant. 
  • The ability for the client to close out their books at the end of the month trusting that the new bill and pay rates were accurate and historical bill and pay rates remained intact depending on the chosen date range.



  • The client needed several Excel reports automated, rebuilt, and enhanced in a more modern reporting system.


  • Reviewed existing reporting from the client.
  • Set up a connection to the client’s Snowflake database containing raw data. 
  • Set up data transforms to match client requirements.
  • Recreated tables and visuals from existing reporting. Set up automated report refreshes straight from Snowflake data source.
  • Worked with the client to iterate and improve visuals as change requests came in.


  • Provided enhanced reporting that met and surpassed original Excel reports while also being automatically refreshed at a regular cadence. 
  • Provided documentation around key data transforms and what tables in the source system were used to recreate reports.



  • The client needed a report that could calculate recruiters’ commission numbers accounting for varying pay structures.


  • Developed report calculations that took varying client-defined pay structures and transformed them into a singular rubric that could then integrate with API row-level data to compute the expected commission numbers.


  • Provide a full breakdown of row-level details for Gross Margin, Commission payout, and structure with the goal for the next tier(s) if applicable.
  • Security of recruiter information, ensuring no one can view anyone else’s commission and financial information.
